Wholesale Trading Terms and Conditions

Villa Mondo does not offer credit accounts for new customers as a matter of course.

Before a request is made, you must have ordered regularly throught the year and paid proforma invoices without delay. Order value should exceed $750 per order and not less than $2000 per annum. Where accounts are established we adhere to the terms and conditions set out by the AGHA in relation to credit accounts, however there are also some additional points that are detailed below and are deemed to be accepted by the applicant when purchasing from us. Late payments will cause cancellation of any account without notice.

As the majority of our stock is imported, prices are subject to fluctuations in exchange rates. Whilst every attempt is made to keep pricing stable, we reserve the right to make changes without notice.

Minimum wholesale value for orders is $275.00 inc GST. Please note many items are sold in minimum multiples. All backorders under $100.00 will be cancelled unless you notify us that you would like to add to them.

Payment may be made by Mastercard, Visa, Direct Deposit, Paypal and Amex. To pay by Amex please call the office.

Proforma Invoices are due for immediate payment by credit card - stock cannot be held for more than 7 days. If payment is not received the order will be cancelled but may be reinstated at a later date with immediate payment.

We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of 20% of the order or $100.00 whichever is the greater for stock ordered and held in reserve on your behalf, or returned.

If your account is overdue, we reserve the right to cancel your credit account and place you on proforma terms without notice. In addition we may charge an account keeping fee of 8% per month on overdue balances to assist with collection costs.

All Monies Retention of Title - All goods delivered by Villa Mondo remain the property of Villa Mondo and the Title in any goods does not pass to the Purchaaser until all debts owed to the Supplier on any account whatsoever, including Interest, Bank Charges, Legal Fee and Collection Expenses are paid to the Supplier in Full. In this regard, the Purchaser grants the right to the Supplier to endter the Purchaser's premises, or any other premises where the goods are reasonably believed to be stored, without notice, to take possession of the goods.

Damaged Goods - All claims for damaged goods or incorrect orders must be received within 7 days of receipt of goods. Please take a photo if possible to assist us with assessing the issue. Please then call or email Head Office first so that a suitable solution can be determined.

Freight Charges - Freight is payable on all orders and is calculated by a percentage of order value based on the delivery State. Customers are always welcome to arrange for their own freight if they wish.

Please ensure you advise the hours your business is open and any other arrangements necessary for the prompt delivery of your stock. Re-delivery fees are payable by the customer and will be invoiced if no-one is available to accept the order or an authority to leave is not given.

Freight/Back Order Conditions:  Out of stock items fall into 2 categories:

1.  Items usually in stock but currently out of stock. This stock is considered a backorder. If over $100 wholesale value it will be sent without further freight charge.

If a customer would like to add other items currently in stock to a backorder they are welcome to so, however we will apply a pro-rata amount of freight.

Out of stock items will not be added to an existing back order. These items will be charged as a new order.

2.  Items that are on preview as in samples shown at Trade Fairs or by agents for delivery at a later date. These items will form a separate order on which freight will be charged.
